Director-Vancouver, Marnie Larson 

Marnie Larson is the Chief Operating Officer of StarGarden Software a provider of HR and Payroll software solutions for larger organizations with complex pay and benefit requirements. Marnie has been with StarGarden for 12 years in a variety of management and consulting roles. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and an MBA from SFU. Marnie was Team Lead for the Wired Woman Vancouver Networking team since 2005 until she took on the role of VP Programs in July 2006. Marnie assumed the role of Chapter President in March 2007.

Mentorship Program Manager, Vancouver, Dina Grskovich

She studied Information Technology and Management Systems at BCIT which landed her in consulting gigs across many industries.  From forestry to fine art, fast growth entrepreneurial to well established multinationals, Dina’s consulting career has been long and diverse.  It all lead her to start her own consulting business called DMG Business Strategy.  Her entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in all fields of strategic HR Management make her a great addition to the Wired Woman team.

Dina’s not a new face to the Wired Woman executive, but she’s been on hiatus for a few years now.  Serving as Co-Director of the Mentorship Program back in 2004, Dina was an integral part of the team then, and we know she’ll step up and take an active role again in her new position.

Jennifer Thomson started her career with Starbucks Coffee, finishing her five years with the company as a marketing specialist for Western Canada. Her desire to become involved in a dynamic and exciting environment led her to CTV Television, where she learned about the media industry and discovered a passion for the dynamism and entrepreneurial nature of sales work. In order to further pursue this passion, Jennifer next moved to the sales team at Novus Entertainment, a residential fibre optic Internet and cable television provider. Jennifer currently works for MetroBridge Networks as a direct sales executive, working with businesses to develop customized solutions for wireless high speed, mission critical Internet connectivity.
